I should get my Eve Of Destruction blu-ray tomorrow.

An interesting titbit, even with America’s love of guns, as per the MPAA’s stance on the depiction of firearms on advertising (which includes trailers and posters), the Shout Factory release couldn’t use the alternate poster of this on the front of their blu-ray.....because Mr Hines was pointing his gun almost straight forward . For another example of the craziness of it all, check out the Amercan trailer for the last Indiana Jones film.

In a country with as many firearms and gun deaths as the United States, that is frankly absurd. If you want to reduce the number of gun deaths, limiting/changing the artwork on DVD and Blu-ray releases shouldn't be your top priority!

$20 (20% off) at JB:

I did import the US DVD of this, but I enjoyed the film enough to want the Blu. Unusual to get it cheaper from JB than online though (still $30+ on eBay)!

I'm probably being dumb here, Treb, but what is it of?

I like it by the way. Very bright.

I don't have a jumper just a t-shirt with a Dalek decorating a tree with the slogan 'Dec-orate' on it.
