I'm a BIG fan of house by the cemetary, its one of the first fulci films I ever saw and I love its moody gothic atmosphere. When Blue-underground released it I bought it immediately (actually pre-ordered from the late planetaxel, so I ended up getting it even earlier) and watched it several times over, so as soon as I started to watch the Arrow release I felt my heart sink a little.

I rarely get rid of stuff when I've double and sometimes triple dipped, each release is usually different, eg the BU ZFE is fantastic IMO and I won't get rid when I receive my Arrow copies as they'll be totally different

I agree with you about BU's ZFE, thought it looked excellent and never saw the reason for some of the complaints.

If you have the receipt and/or dispatch e-mail, just send an e-mail to info@arrowfilms.co.uk explaining the situation and you should receive a replacement disc fairly quickly.

If I use the coin cover they shouldnt bother to look in the clip case. I hope. :pound:
This is why I import so much. I can just tell them "Oh, 2001 Maniac's is a 15, there's lot's of gore but very little sexual" .etc.

Rik 16th October 2012 03:27 PM

I'm so glad my parents didn't mind what I watched, my mum used to rent me videos from the library or local video shop, now she just thinks I'm weird haha

I should get an award for the length I have to go to to appreciate the money I spend!:pound:
My mum's ubber conservative, she still think's women are considered second class citizen's and dinner is rarely complete without me storming off and mum calling me a 'liberal'. She think's any movie with a rating higher than PG is the work of the devil and I often have to restrain myself when she goes on about 'Naked Breast's in cinema'. I hope she never find's my Rollin BD's.....

Grown ups too :p

Hawkmonger 16th October 2012 03:35 PM

Rollin's close enough. In fact my anime collection might anger her more. Jug's defy the law's on physic's on the High School of the Dead cover.....
But honestly, the 18 certificate is neering redundancy. The line between 15 and 18 is becoming increasingly blurred, soon they probably amalgamate, but a few year's to late for me. I've made note that if I ever have kid's i'll be considerably more lenient when they reach a certain age.
An 8 year old watching Fulci? Probably not. 12? Possibly. 16? There life now, I don't give a hoot!

Back to topic I ordered this yesterday Attachment 86716

Am currently tempted with Halloween 4 and 5 but need to get 3 as well (want to do a full on marathon) and the Scream Factory version is still a little too pricey for me at the minute

Yeah, it's pretty hard going in places, but certainly worth a watch for the horrendous dialogue!

I double dip and triple dip alot and i never sell on or get rid of any version of a movie that i hold dearly. Day and Dawn of the dead originals would be the two movies that i have most versions of. About 10-15 dvd/blu/vhs of both movies and about 5-10 dvd/blu of the original notld. A lot of my Arrow blu's are replicated on dvd.

I'm not sure about the BBFC merging the 15 and 18 certificates as a wasn't a million years ago when they introduced a new one!

It sounds as if you are living in a Plymouth Brethren household from the 1950s and, for that, you have my sympathies. Also, you may want to check out the correct use of apostrophes at some point!

An easter egg?

Where?

I've had it for seven years and never known about one.

Refused 16th October 2012 05:12 PM

I think it's the same as the US version - which was aparently decent without being anything special.

Just got an email from HMV saying Puppetmaster 3 has been sent.

I've done that with a few games I have. I own four copies of Final Fantasy VII, three coppies of Final Fantasy VIII, two coppies of Abe's Oddyssey and two coppies each of Tomb Raiders 1 & 2.
