Sadly, I don't speak bongo-bongo, so WHAT IS IT?

It's called BATTLEFIELD BASEBALL, sorry I thought people would be able to make out the title on the dvd case in the pic, but looking again its a bit too small really. My bad!

Scyther 18th November 2012 12:43 PM

What on earth possessed you (pun intended) to buy the utterly abysmal Exorcist II?!

JoshuaKaitlyn 18th November 2012 04:29 PM

Yep, they have English SDH subtitles

Wes 18th November 2012 05:20 PM

Anyone seen the UK Blu of Terminator... I was checking out the reviews and I'm even more undecided... Blu-Ray.com gave the transfer 5/5 while AVForums gave the same transfer 6/10... hate that !

EDIT - just looking thru the comments page on AVForums and there's much criticism of the 6/10 score - it looks like the Blu-Ray.com review is closer to the truth...

I enjoyed Cherry Falls and hope that the uncut version (it was cut before it's release) will surface one day.
Same goes for Valentine... ;)

I didn't know that. Really liked Cherry Falls, clever and funny. Now I crave the full length version!

Here's what was cut/replaced (spoilers):
Cherry Falls (2000) - Alternate versions

i absolutely love Cherry Falls and considering what passes in Horror films these days, these cuts seem relatively tame. There's a scene in the film The Silent Partner from the 70s where a woman has her throat forced down onto a shattered fish tank which kills her, how can they let that pass and not the scene from Cherry Falls.

Demdike@Cult Labs 18th November 2012 07:00 PM

I bought Cherry Falls after several recommendations on here. Daemonia was certainly one of the culprits. :)

So now i am expecting a lot from it.

I have the Steelbook and I thought the picture was incredibly good – this encoding is far better than the US release.

keirarts 18th November 2012 09:16 PM

Holy s***!

Just went onto play and picked up a copy of BLOOD BEAST TERROR odeon Blu-ray for £7.99 with free postage.

Be interested in what you think of The Life and Death of a Porno Gang, Dem.

I thought it was a very powerful and very well-made film, myself.

I plan to watch it sometime in December.

I decided i had some very good films to watch which i've never seen before but nothing extreme. So i picked that.

Mine arrived from the Eureka shop last week – less than a day after ordering it – and it's a beautiful set. I already own the film on DVD, so I'm intrigued to see what it looks like in HD and at the different frame rates.

All old HK vcd's.
Lots of Lam Ching Ying (all except one)! :)

Most of these never received a dvd release.
I do own dvd's of Shy Spirit (Malaysia) and Mad Mad Ghost (China) but they don't have the great artwork these have...

New Mr. Vampire (1986)
Midnight Conjure (1991)
Shy Spirit (1991)
Mad Mad Ghost (1992)
Legend of Wong Tai Sin (1992)
