I have a prime account, but I used to use SS.

The majority of their stuff is sent from Glenrothes,so it usually arrives next day.;)

I got other 2 in amrays so cancelled steelbook and ordered standard so it matches. Was tempted to get German steelbook trilogy though. Might wait for SE boxset next year though.

Managed to get my too watch pile below 10 again so was able to buy a couple of new Blurays on the way hoe from work this evening.

This weeks purchases were Act of Valor (steel book). I have not seen it before but I fancied a war film.

The second choice was The Day which I saw in Glasgow earlier in the year. The German Blu of The Day comes in a rather fetching Orange case.

I didn"t pick up The Dark Knight Rises, although its really cheap (13 Euros or just over a tenner). May pick it up tomorrow if I make it into town.

Yes the Phantasm 5 disc boxset contains the feature length doc called Phantasmagoria and it has a running time of 98 minutes.

Haven't checked for the third yet but hoping its still there.

Does anyone else have these? Haven't checked yet for quality or aspect ratio but these are some really great gialli for cheap.

Haven't got them but would have liked them, don't think that is possible any more, well at least from the resources I have at hand.

I have to say, CD Universe seem to ship over here, just not cheap enough to make it worth my while. I have purchased a couple of other Pop Flix DVD collections for £4/6 which is much more satisfying.

I can't get Super Saver, but I find that my shipping is included in the list price, so when I put a £7 DVD in my basket, it becomes £5 when I checkout, but with the £2 becoming postage.

I've seen the transfers on a mates system and was duly impressed, but i'd sworn not to get it over the £15 mark because aside from the first, third and of course new nightmare the freddy films have always been a little dissapointing for me.

i've only recently started using it, but i've heard good things. I think you can get free overseas postage when you spend £50 or more as well, which is easily done at the minute with the prices on there, I filled my basket as much as I could afford!!

I don't know what it's like with shipping overseas, but I've always found their shipping to be fast, with everything very well packaged. Also, shipping is free in the UK on everything, you don't have to spend over £50 – that only applies to orders outside the UK.

The ordering system is a mess, and needs a serious overhaul. Apart from that however, they are perfect - and if any issues do arise you'll get a quick response.

Oldboy steelbook just arrived.

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 1st December 2012 10:57 AM

I just had an e-mail from Amazon to say my Zombie Flesh Eaters Steelbook has been shipped.

Recently, I've ordered the Nightmare on Elm Street 1-7 box set, the Universal Hitchcock collection and The Little Shop of Horrors (US) – all bargains.

Stephen@Cult Labs 1st December 2012 10:59 AM

My ZFE steelbook was despatched from HMV on thursday. I knew it was too much to hope for that I might get it today.

It should arrive on Monday. I'm really surprised how HMV.com's move from the Channel Islands to Birmingham has affected (in a negative way) how quickly things arrive.

Completely forgot about this. Just placed an order now. Thankfully it hasn't sold out yet. Cheers.

Only thing that bothers me is the lack of "order history" on the site, other than that I've never had any issue with them and their customer service is fantastic too

It's not the move that affected delivery its the fact they changed from royal mail to tnt who are very slow!

I thought TNT would be quicker than Royal Mail, but HMV should really go back to using RM.

Nah they are a cheaper delivery contract. A lot of people over on Blu ray forums hate TNT. I will only use HMV now if they are quite a bit cheaper on offers then other places.

On a another note, these arrived today! Love the slip on Spiderman!

Somebody asked earlier in this thread but I didn't see an answer, but has there been any word when this Arrow sale ends? Kind of would like to place a small order, but just curious to when is the last day I have.

Don't know for certain, but I'm sure that last year it lasted for the entire month of December

**Note - please do not moan at me if it is different this year
