Thanks a lot, I'll do that tomorrow :) I'd take a picture of my room (which has become like a giant carrier bag full of DVD's) but you'd probably have me arrested for untidy-ness (Yes! I just made up a word  i'm Dr. Seuss :D ) |
1 Attachment(s) My strange obsession with HK films has apparently been spotted... I'm contemplating about switching to posting I've bought "Tirol exotic films" for a while to divert attention from it... ;) |

He's probably my brother and I didn't even know it! I'll go knock on his bedroom door and ask him. |
I succumbed and bought the German Blu Ray Steel book of The Boondock Saints (the steel book includes a DVD of the documentary Overnight). Cost me 13 Euros which is around a tenner. I will be back in the U.K. next week for a couple of days and if I can find time to visit H.M.V. it could turn out to be an expensive trip (Bond box set and Universal Monsters are both screaming Buy Me at the moment). |
Picked up some classic 70s action (The Gauntlet on BD and The Seven-Ups) the SS Hell Pack II (for an uncut copy of Gestapo's Last Orgy; mine is the cut Caligula Reincarnated as Hitler) and some sleaze (99 Women and Bare Behind Bares)! |
Reading charity shops: 'For Your Consideration' - from the makers of 'Spinal Tap', 'Best in Show' and 'A Mighty Wind' - £3:00 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo' - original Swedish version, NOT the remake or the Millennium box-set - £1:99 'The Girl Who Played With Fire' - £2:99 'Hard Boiled' - Prism version, It angers me when I see "From the director of 'Face Off' and 'Broken Arrow' on the cover. Did John Woo not do any Cantonese language films that are better than these? - £0:75 3 Film Box Set, containing 'Green Street', 'Love, Honour and Obey' and 'ID' - not the kind of films I would normally get, but at the price, I didn't think I could go wrong - £2: Oh - I also got some vodka, but that wasn't from a charity shop, so I had to pay full price! |

14 Attachment(s) Let's see if this works. These were last months DVD's: Attachment 82456 Attachment 82457 Attachment 82458 Attachment 82459 Attachment 82460 Attachment 82461 Attachment 82462 Attachment 82463 Attachment 82464 Attachment 82465 Attachment 82466 Attachment 82467 Attachment 82468 And just for everyone's curiosity, this is me: Attachment 82469 If this has worked, I'll post the DVDs I bought yesterday, later. |
Have that deranged DVD myself. Have it on video too. Good movie and features Gore effects by Savini. Roberts blossom gives a pretty decent performance. |
Terminator steelbook arrived this morning. And as usual, f*****g scratched! BUT! a little magic worked with a black marker makes it look a lot better, as you can see with the photo of the steelbook opened. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/12/09/29/ymu9a3uz.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/12/09/29/a2u2uje7.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/12/09/29/jybubyvu.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/12/09/29/7y3ymeba.jpg |
You've had no luck with Steelbooks recently, have you? |

Sorry but I must ask you both to vacate the premises. We can't be seen to be allowing gingers too mingle with normals here! It's a wonder both of you haven't been found out before now! (Says the slaphead!) Just kidding guys. :) |
I fear for all the steelbooks I have on order from now until Xmas. |

Oh, and The Terminator is another of those cheap-ass releases with no main menu. Just plays the film when you put the disc in (another of my pet hates). |

As for your Steelbook situation, you'll have to try getting them shipped to someone you know and trust locally and see if that makes a difference. |

It has it's pros and cons. It's certainly better than sitting through endless previews, logos, selecting a language, waiting for an overly complicated menu to load up etc. On the downside, if I put a disc in and go off to have a poo while it loads I end up missing a chunk of the film. |

D'you want to see the DVDs I bought yesterday? |
If there's a lesson to be learned, shit before booting ;) |
