Thanks for the recommendation! Just had a look at the website, so much trawling to be done!

Will do - I'll hopefully get a chance over the weekend.

From some of the reviews and comments I've seen, it doesn't look nearly as bad as predicted. Definitely an upgrade over the DVD, it's just a shame about the missing 25s. due to the alternative opening scene.

My copy of A Clockwork Orange has been shipped and, although Dr. Strangelove is one of my all-time favourite movies, I haven't yet ordered that medibook as I haven't watched all the features on the UK BD yet!

Oh, I've just ordered the collector's edition of Casablanca and the 75th anniversary ultimate collector's edition of Citizen Kane from Amazon.com (Casablanca from Marketplace) which cost over £100 in total! Looking at the pictures on Amazon and DVD Profiler makes them look like they're worth every cent.

I think the extras are identical across both releases.

I'm getting hooked on these digibooks; there are also a couple more I have my eye on. I'm restraining myself... for now!

I've just checked out some pics of these two, and they are indeed look impressive.

Possibly sacrilege, but whilst I understand both are heralded as classics of cinema, I'm not interested in either film... at least that's a bit of money saved, I suppose!

Oddly enough, that's one I'm not bothered in getting a digibook of... I'm happy enough with the UK slip-covered release.
