Well worth the money! Night of the Creeps is region-free if you enjoy it.

I heard that release of Suspiria you have there has pretty dire picture quality.

The transfer of the image is great, it's the colour and contrast people have issues with. I personally like it.

Dreadful but at the same time strangely compelling. Not sure which bit I liked best, fighting the dwarves or Jim Kelly VS Vulture (yes the bird).

Absolute madness of the highest order, deeply trashy fun.

Sounds entertaining, like the odd bit of blaxploitation style kung fu madness.

Popped into a second-hand shop earlier today and picked up the following.

Stanley Kubrick Collection (2001, Barry Lyndon,Lolita,Dr Strangelove,Full Metal Jacket,Eyes Wide Shut,The Shining, A Clockwork Orange and Stanley Kubrick-A Life In Pictures) - I already had a couple of these but for less than £10 I couldn't resist.

Dogville
Down Terrace
Basic Instinct
Panic In Needle Park - I love this film, Pacino's best performance in my opinion.
The Rules Of Attraction - I loved the book.

Got the whole lot for less than £15.

People's charity shop purchases are far more fascinating than internet ones.

Anyway, on the subject, my latest charity shop jaunt netted the following book for £2.50; Lloyd Kaufman's autobiography:

All I Need To Know About Filmmaking I Learned From The Toxic Avenger: The Shocking True Story of Troma Studios

There's normally a drought where I live, I've never spent more than £5 in one before today, I could of spent more but had to keep a bit of cash back for lunch. They had the complete Alan Partridge in there for £5, hopefully it's still there tomorrow.

Rik 4th July 2013 04:28 PM

All there ever is in the ones near me are Taggart and Inspector Morse DVD's, if I wanted to watch that, I'd turn ITV4 on during the day

wongfeihung62 4th July 2013 06:23 PM
