The last time I asked, they said they print one disc: one booklet, one poster and one sleeve so don't usually have spares around.

I shall ask though.

Thanks Nos, like I said, I just keep all the posters in the cases but to me, as a collector, it's not complete without all the extra goodies. I've messaged the seller to ask why it wasn't included, even though he told me everything was in mint condition

The boat can leave now, tell the crew

Plus, I've just received confirmation that Amazon have shipped my Kind Hearts and Coronets BD!

Oh, those look fantastic ; I have just recently picked up The Chaser on DVD, so if I like it I will look to picking up the Blu at some point. :)

Just received an email today to say that my A Bittersweet Life LE has just shipped. I've never ordered from YesAsia before, though, any idea when I should expect delivery? They ship from within the UK don't they?

How much did those four set you back, bizarre_eye? I've wanted the Infernal Affairs trilogy for some time but haven't yet figured out the best version or the right price.

The whole lot was just shy of £120 delivered. A Bittersweet Life is the first press limited edition with 'Coffee Book', and The Chaser and I Saw the Devil are the Korean first press limited editions. The Infernal Affairs Trilogy was $75.99 and comes with 6 postcards ($1 more than the regular version).

As for Kind Hearts and Coronets, you won't be disappointed except, perhaps in the commentary. I think it is an excellent release.

Kind Hearts and Coronets Blu-ray Review

I'm really looking forward to watching it and the commentary aside, like you say, it seems like an excellent release!

That version of A Bittersweet Life is on its way to me at the moment and that seems like a really good price for the Infernal Affairs trilogy. Limited edition all the way!

The Chaser isn't good though, it's superb. I don't think it will be possible for you not to like it to be honest.
I didn't think about upgrading but now it's been brought to my attention I think I'll look for the best Blu-ray to buy. Anyone got any ideas? or is there only one release yet?

There's a US release due from MPI in October, and a French release: but that one isn't English-language friendly.

I love The Chaser too, and couldn't pass up on the Korean limited edition!

Both the Korean BD and upcoming US BD are Region A locked, though.

Just looked it up on some other forums, seems the Korean release has upset people PQ wise with excessive DNR. Oh well I guess I'll wait and hope that the US release is Region Free.

I haven't seen The Chaser, but may take a punt with this release. As it's limited edition, it can eventually increase in value.

bizarre_eye@Cult Labs 1st September 2011 06:58 PM

Hmm... I'd heard about the DNR, but some of the screenshots I've seen makes it look like a very nice release, imo.

e.g.

I guess I'll have to judge for myself when it arrives!
