I've got the US Terminator BD. Could be better still but definitely an upgrade. You know it'll get redone somewhere along the line, especially as it was an early format release.

With the rumours of the ITV BD's going out of print, this week I've bought up some I've been meaning to for ages:

Boys From Brazil
Ipcress file
Capricorn One (more Hal Holbrook to go with the Rituals Dvd I ordered too)

Just The Eagle Has Landed to go now for me, although I'm on the fence about Escape to Athena. Saw it at the cinema and all I really remember is that it was a bit average...

I take those card slipcases off all my BD's.
There's a stack of them in a cupboard somewhere.....

I got both BOYS FROM BRAZIL and IPCRESS from Blockbuster for only £7 each.
Both are worth the upgrade.

I've not done too bad buying used. Most I've paid so far was £8.50 and Ipcress was £6.75 al in. Bet more people will want them when they can't be had any more.

It's really grainy imo. It was a triple play blu ray so I compared it to the DVD and the only difference was that the blu was a lot sharper, which helped the picture but the grain is still very prominent. Kinda disappointed.

I've ordered the UK triple play version and will see what it's like. I don't have a problem with grains -- I'd rather it was there than wiped out with a massive amount of DNR.

i just got black swan too
the movie was shot using 16MM and digital cameras so it is meant to be grainy
that means no blu will ever look that good cause of the way it was filmed
but with the conditions of the movie put aside the blu does present the movie as close to the theatrical presentation as possible. which means it is a very good blu

Bought Black Swan tonight. It looks nice in a clear BD case.
