Woop. My BD of The Conversation arrived today. Just gets better with every watch. Rapidly creeping into my top 10 of all time I reckon . . .

You'll have bought several things before Christmas as there'll be bargains before the 25th and then sales before New Year.

Went Chrimbo shopping in town this morning and tried hard not to go into Fopp or HMV, but failed miserably.

I got Lord of Illusions for the Barker commentary and Q: The Winged Serpent for Cohen's commentary.

Most chuffed at getting the Harold Lloyd Definitive Collection for £12 in Fopp - don't sleep on that bargain.
Michael Nyman's man With A Movie Camera is a re-buy as I lost my square tin copy a while back and Pink Narcissus was bought on the strength of a review on this here forum.

Picked up rare exports on blu-ray. £5.

Just got home to find the 25th aniversary blue velvet waiting for me, had a quick gander at the disc and the picture quality is frankly astonishing (plus 51mins of lost footage!)

Good day all-round!

imo BLUE VELVET is Lynch's best film and without doubt one of the best films of the 80's
got the R1 SE, bought it when first released, might upgrade now with the lost footage as well....
