I've just preordered the limited edition Alfred Hitchcock Collection from HMV. £100 may sound like a lot but, with 14 BDs and cool packaging, it seems like good value.

I am intrigued by serial killers and their reprehensible actions but I have never been a supporter of sensationalizing them. Their psyche is obviously operating on a different wavelength and I find that captivating. I recommend these books to anyone that has a particular interest in the subject.

The Night Stalker: The Life and Crimes of One of America's Deadliest Killers: Amazon.co.uk: Philip Carlo: Books

Devil's Knot: The True Story of the West Memphis Three: Amazon.co.uk: Mara Leveritt: Books

No, me neither, the media does a good enough job of that. I can clearly remember delivering newspapers around the time Fred & Rose West were first revealed to be mass murderers and the entire paper was full of it!

Got a much better deal on a hotel for grimmfest, saved about £65. A sane person would have banked that, instead.....

Is there a thread anywhere on the 'Labs about serial killers?

Back to the topic, I had some extra coin hiding in my account so I decided to get this after putting it off for a long time.

You may wanna hold off on that set cos its first review from the guy who created Masters of Cinema (can't remember his name) states there's masses of problems with the majority of the transfers. So much so that the US version has been kept back so they can try and fix it all.
