Snap. I had to pay an additional £12 back in 2008.

I guess its good to know customs haven't put their prices up.

Only a portion of that is customs. The lions share is a 'handling fee' the royal mail charges for getting the package out of customs and to the customer. The fact that it doesn't seem any quicker than before the charge is neither here nor there...."its not a protection racket guv...honest!"

Yeah, I'm a bit sore over the customs thing. I got a charge which was a mistake as the retailer incorrectly declared the total on the form. I send the details to customs and excise as I heard you can claim back incorrect charges.

Forgot about it and a few months later a cheque turned up.. for a few quid.. and a letter explaining they have reimbursed me, however the handling charge is separate and nothing to do with them. So I paid £9 for something that wasn't my fault.

It works out that the customs fee is just over £4 and the other £8 is the 'handling fee', which is pretty steep.

It's nice to finally get Deliverance in the UK. Quite surprsied Tucker & Dale Vs Evil came with a slipcase, after all this time. Amazon's 3 for £17 offer is very nice, especially considering it has From Here To Eternity in it, which just came out on Monday. I'll be picking up a few more from that offer. I don't know what it is at the moment, but I'm finding far more of interest to me in Scream Factory's DVD releases, than Blu-ray. Can't wait for their TV Terrors release.

I bought Tucker and Dale on the week of release and didn't get a slipcase. I think you should give me yours, it's only fair.

I get the feeling it's been given a slipcase in a reprinting, because I've seen a couple of people say that now.

Excellent selection there! The only one I don't approve of is The Shining.
