Same for me, apart from my first viewing of the Exorcist being on its cinema re-release in 1999, and by that time I'd read the book many times

That makes them the Vincent Price films then. I've seen most of the films on that list.

i have that mag very good. I'd reccomend Rue Morgue magazine's 200 alternative horror films you need to see.
