It's one of the few animated films i've any time for. | I think I enjoyed Home Alone when I was younger, but watched it when I was in my late teens and hated it so haven't watched it since – it must be 15 years or more. Perhaps I needed a break and might catch it if and when it is on terrestrial TV this month.
As for the animation used in The Polar Express, I had exactly the same problem with A Christmas Carol, which I saw in 3-D at the cinema and only enjoyed the bits where you were 'flying' through the London streets.
