Default Sequels that are better than the first film

Sequels that are better than the first film

I've done a search and couldn't find a similar thread, but mods feel free to move or merge if I've missed one somewhere

What sequels do you guys think are better than the first film in the series?
Off the top of my head, I'd say the following sequels are better than the original IMO:

Aliens
Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
The Godfather Part II
Indiana Jones & The Temple of Doom
Scars of Dracula
Hellbound:Hellraiser II
Back to the Future 2
Dawn of the Dead
Day of the Dead
Exorcist II: The Heretic (just kidding, it's ****ing awful!)
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
Evil Dead 2
The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

Probably a few more too
Wes and zane like this.
