I've always felt the film has as much going for it as goes against it.

It's certainly flawed, don't get me wrong. Probably a guilty pleasure. I've watched it more than i'll ever watch the Bale films.

I've not seen either of the Joel Schumacher Batman films but being such a massive Lost Boys fan I feel that I should give them a try at least once

This is true and considering im a Al Adamson and Ed wood fan then i find my pleasures in the most unusual places.ps I liked Batman and Robin to,and Dark knight is in my top ten
