One of my friends in particular really liked one of the girls so he was trying his best to be all ultra-sensitive and caring - me and my other friend ended up ditching him and going to the arcade in the end as it was becoming quite cringe-worthy. There's nothing like some Mortal Kombat to wash away the boredom left by Titanic.
