In all seriousness there are some pretty decent films listed that i'm sure you can pick up dirt cheap from Amazon marketplace sellers. The Woman is a Lucky Mckee film and is based on a Jack Ketchum novel. It's worth looking out for Offspring, the first film, also based on a Ketchum novel. I'm not sure if Feast 2 went direct to video, i think it did but the uncertainty meant i left it out of the top 10. |

The Ginger Snaps films are all required viewing in my opinion, as are all three Candyman films, Howling: The Freaks is arguably the best of the series. Hollowman II and Starship Troopers 2 are both fast paced sequels, indeed Starship Troopers 2 goes in a Thing direction as well. Piranha 3DD is a John Gulager film (Feast, and it's sequels) so expect tons of nudity, David Hasselhoff , Ving Rhames and gore galore. |

Candyman: Day of the Dead (1999) Hellraiser: Hellseeker (2002) The Woman (2011) out of the ones listed. Candyman: Day of the Dead is terrible, the other two (particularly The Woman) are pretty decent I thought. |

I have come close to picking up the woman a few times but gave it a miss for some reason I might pick it up after work if CEX have it.

Top Ten Worst Horror Sequels: [worst at the top] 1. The Wicker Tree (2010) 2. Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991) 3. A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985) 4. Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004) 5. Hostel: Part II (2007) 6. A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child (1989) 7. Candyman: Day of the Dead (1999) 8. Scream 3 (2000) 9. Vampires: Los Meurtos (2002) 10. Friday the 13th: Part 2 (1981) A slightly unfair list really as aside from the mainstream horror franchises I haven't actually seen that many horror sequels... the enthusiasm on my part to actually check many of them out is severely lacking. |
