Top 10 Martial Arts films.

Shaolin Soccer (2001)
Ong Bak (2003)
Iron Monkey (1993)
The God of Cookery (1996)
Bloodsport (1988)
Hard to Kill (1990)
Kung Fu Hustle (2004)
Rumble in the Bronx (1995)
Kiss of the Dragon (2001)
DOA: Dead or Alive (2006)*

*Guilty pleasure.

Special mention to Who Am I? (1998).
I don't think it's a great film but it sports an outstanding final fight and Jackie's descent down the Willemswerf building in Rotterdam is just amazing.

I should say that i have quite a few Jackie Chan films from throughout his career as well as having the majority of Bruce Lee's films the problem is it's that long since i watched any of them i couldn't say which is the best.

Top Ten Martial Arts films.

AWOL. 1990. Sheldon Lettich
The Raid. 2011. Gareth Evans
The Raid 2. 2014. Gareth Evans
Kiss of the Dragon. 2001. Chris Nahon
Unleashed. 2005. Louis Letterier
Enter the Dragon. 1973. Robert Clouse
Roadhouse. 1989. Rowdy Herrington
The Streetfighter. 1974 Shigehiro Ozawa
Shogun Assassin. 1980. Robert Houston
Kill Bill Vol 1&2. 2003/4. Quentin T
Bulletproof Monk. 2003. Paul Hunter

A mention too to Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. As a film I think it's a bit silly and bloated but some of the actual fight choreography is breathtaking.

Top 10 Martial Arts films wasn't a resounding success.

Thanks to Keirarts, Justin, Mr 420 and Mr Harker for their contributions.

I'll post a new topic towards midnight.

I have a few films I need to watch – including the Lone Wolf and Cub series and all the Bruce Lee films – before posting a list because it is been too long since I saw them and want to cut down the provisional list I have to only 10 titles.

Better late than never!

Sorry. No excuses. You've failed and let the side down, Nos.

Would you like it if we were to extend the deadline for topics so the likes of yourself and that other nosferatu can submit lists whenever you so choose.
