10 British films is it?

Hmmm

Twisted Nerve (if PT is a thriller, then so is this COUGH)
The Haunting (1963)
Cottage To Let
O Lucky Man!
The 39 Steps
The Green Man
Dead Mans Shoes
Kill List
Bleak Moments (I defy anyone to select a more British film than this cough)
Scum

Right then let's get this done.
Top Ten Brit Films.
Avoiding horror with one potential exception. Also avoiding comedy because I'm sure we did a British Comedy list a while back.

Withnail & I. Bruce Robinson. 1987.
The Long Good Friday. John Mackenzie. 1980.
The Krays. Peter Medak. 1990.
Ice Cold in Alex. J.Lee Thompson. 1958.
Legend. Brian Helgeland. 2015.
The King's Speech. Tom Hooper. 2010.
The Lady Vanishes. Alfred Hitchcock. 1938.
Zulu. Cy Endfield. 1964.
Get Carter. Mike Hodges. 1971.
And the possible exception
The Damned. Joseph Losey. 1964.

You may well be right. I know we did a British TV comedy and a US comedy shows. I could have sworn the mythical figure known as Nordy had done British Comedy films. Figured it might make another topic so let it be. Particularly seeing as I could comfortably do a list. I also tried to avoid British Sci-fi with the exception of the fantastic The Damned. I don't think there's been a British Sci-fi week before and given its not a huge subgenre I thought that might well make for an interesting week.

It would be if you could incorporate film and tv but sci-fi films alone might be tough and samey.
