Coming in March from Second Sight, hopefully on its own because I'm not bothered for the sequels

I must admit I have not seen the film in yonks so I must catch it over the w/end. Who would have thought this would spawn two sequels ? We badly need definitive Blus for Cronenberg. I haven't seen Shivers, Rabid, Dead Ringers since the VHS days...

I've never seen the sequels, never felt the need to.

I saw the first sequel but if you put a gun to my head I could tell you nothing about it - instantly forgettable. Nice poster art though, what a shame...

I love his artwork, I have most of Jim Warren's Bizarre Images trading cards, some mega surreal shit!

Michael Ironside is really great in Scanners (he'll always be Ham Tyler to me) but Stephen Lack is seriously wooden...

Yeah, and Scanner Cop 2. Not great, but better than Scanners III.

I'd love to have those remastered and released on Blu-ray, especially Dead Ringers, which is Cronenberg's best film.

Hmmm....I actually prefer part 2 to the first, one of the better sequels in a franchise I've seen. 3 is a bit 80's action-fest crossed with Scanners. I'd like to see someone put out the Scanner Cop films though, I believe there were two of them. I really liked the first one, but don't think I ever saw its sequel.

But not Vampire Cop. One of the absolute worst films I ever rented in the VHS era.
