It's one of those with VHS inserts as the removed scenes have had the film elements destroyed as were the case in the 80s and 90s. The main cut of the film is full HD all the way through.

Thanks. VHS inserts really grate with me. The Shameless release of Top Sensation is awful in that respect.

I'm happy to watch a poor quality dvd as i did with Terror in the Crypt last week it's the jumping between the two formats that annoys.

Yeah vhs inserts and a LOT of monologue......good for insomnia!

One of my favourite steelbooks below.....Got a mate who was visiting family across the pond to nip into Best Buy!

I remember when that big Warner VHS boxset came out-Virgin in Argyle Street,I had already been in HMV and bought a standard release (Gold I think was widescreen and came in the big box, silver was fullscreen-correct me if I'm wrong).I took it back in to HMV was refunded and straight into Virgin for the big box.
Global video had a pile of ex-rentals with that shitetitle font once the furore had died down....

The following week I found a VHS Precert in a second hand record shop down the 'Cow wynd' in Falkirk for a fiver!

I think it was called 'Sleeves' any Jock members remember it?
They had a shop in Kircaldy as well.....

The company is a new(ish) UK outfit that specialise in small runs of hard to find films, this particular one is a TV movie from '83. I'm only interested in it from the thread at blu-ray.com and people were saying how much they loved it, I looked it up on YouTube the whole film is on there. I'd never actually heard of it previously.
