He initially said the audio was awful, but after spending more time watching and listening, he says the dialogue appears to be ok but the music and fx sound warbly. A true disappointment.
Crap! Pisses me off badly when opportunities like this get blown. Who knows if or when we'll get another release.

And Everton will sign Messi.

MGM have released virtually nothing catalogue wise in the UK in five years. Possible chance of a US release.. Maybe...

Spain seems the place where MGM tests the waters for new releases.

Btw SWV's Blood Trilogy and Basket Case are both region locked (A) it seems...

I think that both MGM and Fox have been very slow in embracing the whole Blu-ray thing. No surprise from Fox, they were the same with DVD and wouldn't even release anything on the format to begin with. They eventually released Titanic and charged twice the price of all other DVD releases. Crazy. Mind you, they'd sunk a lot of investment into developing D-VHS (digital VHS) and were hoping that would take off. It didn't and along came DVD and the rest, as they say, is history.

But really, come on you guys over at Fox and MGM, get behind getting your libraries out on BD. So many good films just sitting there gathering dust. If they're not for sale + we can't buy them = no money. So get releasing those catalogue titles onto BD, you're not making any money by simply sitting on them.

And when these studios do lower themselves to put out an interesting catalogue title on BD they region-lock them. I'd be fine with that if there was a UK release down the line, but mostly there's not. So why lock a title you don't intend on releasing anywhere else?
