I wonder if they'll include the Italian for Strip Nude. That would be a definite winner. Not the copious amounts of nudity of course

Some of the night shots are pretty rough on the DVD's too from what I remember.

Tell me about it. A while back I was browsing Amazon.fr, and they had loads of really nice editions of Kung Fu and HK flicks, including quite a few old school Jackie Chan films, but sadly none appeared to have English subs.

It's the same in Germany, where they get a lot of Asian movies with the Blu-ray steelbook editions, but again with no English subs.

I think it's more about what the films' owners want, same as region coding.

Yeah, it is properly more to do with the agreement with the licensor than any anti-Anglo conspiracy. Shame, because the latter would be more fun to rail against!

Yeah, I agree with you on that point, though thankfully nearly all Korean and HK editions have English subs!

Rumours are circulating (and VCI seem to have confirmed it) that VCI will be putting out Bava's Blood and Black Lace out on BD sometime in the near future.
