My Copy of Evil Dead 2 just arrived and i've tested it...unfortunately your worst fears are true, it is indeed Region A locked. Sorry guys

The film looks 100 times better than the Anchor Bay disc.

I am very impressed with the effort Lionsgate have put in to this disc! I should be writing an essay right now but I'm watching EDII for the hundredth time!

Let's just hope everyones covers are in better condition that mine. Looks like there's been something wrong when they printed it (mine anyway). The whole paper sleeve is covered in dark vertical lines! Takes the piss.

About five minutes after I posted that, the postman tried to push half a dozen packages through the letterbox before my brother stepped to his rescue and opened the door.

Evil Dead II was in one of them and fortunately the cover is in great condition. I haven't had a look through the disc yet, but I'm keen to see what the new encoding is like.
