It's actually a little known B-movie with Roy Scheider leading a posse of vigilantes after a six-pack of lemon and lime drink cans who raped and murdered his daughter.

I had no idea it was out on blue-ray. I take it you mean the Corman movie with vincent price, because if all the old corman/poe/lovecraft mgm titles are hitting blue-ray then things are going to be very expensive for me.

Found it! Don't think i'll bother to be honest.

1.European discs are usually quite dear.

2.The cover art is awful, and I mean REALLY REALLY BAD.

3.It'll probably get an eventual release stateside.

4.I've heard mixed things about koch discs.

It's pretty reasonably priced at 13 euros and I can't see a US release coming anytime in the near or distant future unless it gets licensed out. I doubt it's a high priority at MGM.

Nonetheless, Koch have been a bit up and down so I'm waiting for a review. Not sure if the problem is Koch themselves as there seem to be a lot of smaller companies distributed or handled by Koch.

The cover is awful though but still not as bad as Premature Burial!

Have you checked out the screenshots on amazon.de ?

They look to be in the wrong ratio and a lot like a dvd upscale. Now they are ONLY screenshots, and i'm the first to criticise people who make snap judgements based on screenshots, so who knows it could look startling?

But i'll be sticking with my mgm midnight movies disc which is in the correct ratio and looks fantastic on upscale.

I'm pretty sure those are not screenshots. They look like promotional photos from the movie. Koch released LEGEND OF HELL HOUSE and I'm happy with that disc.

I'd be very surprised if they're from the Blu-ray though and I think they've been there for a while now. It was only actually released yesterday and everywhere lists it at 2.35:1. Like I said, I'll wait for reviews anyway as they can be hit and miss.
