Yeah, that was from Spirit Media which is who is releasing Haunted Palace and Premature Burial. I think the deadly Scanners BD was from Black Hill.

Again, I dont want to make snap judgements based on a few tiny images on the net. This could look astonishing. But I rarely buy european discs unless I have to. its actually 14.99 shipped outside of germany and to be fair that is indeed cheaper than some of the extortionate prices i've seen for european discs. I need to draw the line to avoid never having any money at all and boycotting discs from europe (unless I have to, as with SPLIT SECOND) is a good way to start.

Also still don't see a good enough reason to upgrade the mgm midnite movies edition I own. Especially with the dreadful cover. I'd rather spend the money getting more of the redemption discs or one of the other dozen items clogging up my wish lists.

Hopefully if it can be made to look great, then a US or UK company will stick it out, I can wait.

Not sure if it's been posted before, but Olive Films will be releasing Stephen King's Thinner on BD in August.

I had a search to see if it was one of the original posters, but I can't find it anywhere.

Could it be (shock, horror!) original artwork?

I haven't seen Thinner in years but remember really liking it at the time.

I think it's been done for this blu-ray (and dvd), or it might have been done for a screening somewhere.

I honestly can't remember if I've seen Thinner or not.

I remember this to be a very creepy gypsy-curse film I last seen in my mid-teens I think, just over ten years ago. I always wanted to read the short-story its based on but never got around to it. I may pick this up but have been generally happy with King's output on DVD and may just pick it up cheap on that format.
