It has to be the original if Corman's name is on it. Quite racey and gory from my youthful recollection. I'd be interested to see what extras were on offer, if any.

The classic one from the eighties Sarah.
It has the same artwork as the original Warner VHS and similar to the New Concorde r1 release.

Hopefully yeah Vince.The last R1 release was trimmed.
I have the German release and it's fully intact,and the restored gore IS noticeable.

I have the Japanese King DVD (Monster) which includes the head ripping, missing from the US DVD (and old UK video).

Yeah,I think it's the same print as the German one.

The old r1 was missing that scene completely.

It's definitely the proper 1980 version,but I'm hoping it's not the 'R' rated cut I already own,with the head-ripping off censored.
