We certainly wouldn't be excited about a re-release of the crappy remake.

I figured as much but I've seen so many people claiming they have the original on places like Amazon when actually it's the TV version that I didn't dare get excited without verification!

Apparently the same company have the following slated for a 2010 release....

GALAXY OF TERROR
FORBIDDEN PLANET
DEATH RACE 2000
WARLORDS OF THE 21ST CENTURY
SUBURBIA

If they pull this off, then it's gonna be a cracking year for Corman-produced films.

I'd especially like to see GALAXY OF TERROR and FORBIDDEN PLANET given the treatment they deserve on DVD.

I think you may mean Forbidden World, reaper. If so I'll have one of those and Galaxy of Terror.

It is, Vin - the cast is like a who's-who of B-movie veterans: Robert Englund, Ray Walston, Sid Haig, Zalman King etc. It's a really fun ride, well worth a look. There's also a really odd sexual molestation by a big slimy creature - it has to be seen to be believed!

I sold my old ILC Prime DVD of Galaxy of Terror on eBay about a year ago now. It would be nice to get a brand-spanking new remastered version!

Plus Edward Albert (son of Eddie), Grace Zabriskie (Laura Palmer's looney mom in Twin Peaks) and the luscious Erin Moran (Richie Cunningham's 'ickle sis in Happy Days).

Some more Roger Corman to look forward to. They've got my attention.
