"The Devil's Kiss"- starts out with a double whammy of a voodoo dance show followed by an "avant garde" fashion show that made me think, this could possibly be the greatest film ever made, sadly it slows right down after that. Worth a look just for the general madness that is the plot alone. I also liked the fact that half the cast looked more dead/pasty faced than the reanimated corpses in the film!

I watched Apollo 18 last night.

Well I was really looking forward to this and it was good until the end.
The atmosphere was great and it felt creepy in places although not as effective as Paranormal Activity.

The ending could be seen from miles away and ruined the movie. The last sequence should been removed and it would have had a much bigger impact for the end.

Had great potential but the choices made for end ruined it.

Watched Blood For Dracula this morning, first time seeing this and TBH, I thought it was a tad boring and some of the acting was horrendous! Followed it with Hatchet 2, my prize from a comp the other week. What can I say about this film, except that it's awesome and definitely on a par with the original, great special fx, some inventive death scenes and just the right amount of cliches and comedy make this one of the best slasher films I've seen in recent times.

I am Number 4. Enjoyable. Would like to see a sequel with a more expansive storyline and lots more action:nod:

Dead Ringers (1988) - 4.5/5

Excellent psychological horror, one of Cronenberg's best and I'd love a Criterion Blu-ray.

Nattevagten (aka Nightwatch) (1994)
Excellent movie! Intelligent script, gets better by the minute. Oh, and the DVD cover says: "Before Saw and and before Seven there was the classic Nightwatch". WTF?

Both BLOOD and FLESH are best seen as a double, and in the right frame of mind:lol: seen em a few times and still have time for em. Haven't seen HATCHET 2 yet but if it has the same vibe as the first it'll be a cracker.
