Grotesque deffo not my type ...type of film i could do without...

Not particularly my cuppa tea either but a friend from college gave me a copy of them both, TBH I only accepted them to fulfil a curiosity as to why we aren't allowed to watch them over here.

Watched Four Flies On Grey Velvet and enjoyed it very much, the best part of the animal trilogy in my opinion, suspenful, stylish, classic Argento with a superb climax!

Watched The Uranium Conspiracy starring Fabio Testi and directed by Menahem Golan.

Judging by the extremely slow beginning, I really thought it was going to be a dud, but the flick picked up pace 'round the second act and it was uphill from there, really. Not essential viewing by any means, but I'm a fan of both Golan and Testi, so why not, right? :)

Watched a couple of films last night, first up was Joe D'amato's ANTHROPOPHAGOUS, still like this film and would love a decent uncut UK release, yes there is a massive chunk of the film with little going on but the final scenes make up for it IMO.
Next up was the only film I can think of where its title perfectly fits the film-GROTESQUE. What can I say about this vile piece of work? I felt like I should take out my eyes and scrub them after watching this, I mean I can take as much gore and splatter than you can throw at me, but this had me looking away and wincing at some of the shocking things on screen. I'm not saying it wasn't a good film though because it was, the acting was good, the gore was very very realistic and the direction and cinematographer was very well done, but its certainly not a film I'll be in a hurry to watch again. Oh, and the ending, WTF?
Currently having my first viewing of WATCH ME WHEN I KILL that I purchased a few months back, rather enjoyable so far I must say.

ME, MYSELF AND IRENE w/ext. branching of deleted scenes and there were some scenes which should of been kept in the film. very funny
one of the Farrelly bros best films
SHIRI. a South Korean version of NIKITA, not as good as Besson's film, but still a good film nevertheless
