Switch Blade Romance (on Blu-ray)

I went tinto this film knowing nothing about it apart from the fact that its a slasher and various people have said its good. I wasnt disapointed.

Its fantastically brutal and gory with a great atmosphere (the HD Dolby audio is amazing and the picture is perfect). I loved the plot (dont want to give anything away if you've not seen it my suggestion is to go in completely blind). The use of music was really good expcially the Muse song.

Also its the first time in ages I've been really freaked out by a film (watched it at 2am after work and didnt want to go to sleep afterwards).

Thoroughly reccomended!!!

Only minor problem is the Blu-ray has no extras.

Ha ha - this is still one of the greatest pleasure i've has in a cinema. I took a couple of girlies to watch it with me... they left once the mother got iced! Lol. I stayed and braved it and have haven't had a veiwing experience that intense until Eden Lake came out!

i just watched district 9 and it was awesome 9/10
and neon maniacs 7/10

I have just finished watching Embodiment of Evil. I Havent seen a Coffin Joe film before but I really enjoyed (not sure if enjoyed is quite the right word) this one. The desert/hell scene was very creepy (and pretty sick). But the thing that was weirdest has to be the woman coming out of the pig carcas! Must be seen to be believed.

I would probably not hae seen this if it werent for the comeptition here. Thanks again Iluv.

Paganini Horror - One of the worst italian horror films i have ever seen!

Voices From Beyond - Wasn't expecting much from this late in the day Fulci effort but it turned out to be a lot of fun.

What really pissed me off was that you could tell the girl's manager could not speak english and was just mouthing the words. And the only good looking woman (Rita) in the film was killed off too early.
