Just watched the first episode of In The Flesh, a new bbc drama about a zombie epidemic that's swept Britain and the aftermath involving the treatment of the undead and the plan to rehabilitate and re-introduce them into society. Really enjoyed the first episode, some good ideas and new (at least I thought) ways of looking at the subject.

An incredibly odd movie and one I'd recommend to ALL Cult film fans! Very very strange. The scenes with the ghost/witch things was some of the oddest scenes I've seen in quite a while and the plot was just nuts. The main villain is a splitting image of Flash Gordon's Ming too. Very camp, very silly and definitely a must for cult-iphilies

Same names - very different movies!

The original film is terrific.

Have you got the dvd Kyle? It comes with a lovely fold out poster. Its not just Arrow you know

A mate of mine has an original UK quad of that framed in his film viewing room. He had to have it restored as it had a few tears but it looks stunning now.

I picked up a copy of the film recently on DVD and the version I have is nothing special really. The release is just a cash-in on the new film in the cinema - very quickly and cheaply put together no doubt. Mind you, I wouldn't have come across this film otherwise.

A viewing room (and with this quad poster)? That sounds pretty sweet, Dem!

Ah, I missed this, Harker! It sounded right up my alley! You should start a thread about the show in the TV section. I'm sure there's plenty of people interested in this here!

I see your point. The Anniversary edition is the decent one.

Your version is million times better, Dem. I think the cheap one I have is designed to trick the casual movie punter who would no doubt think the film is a piece of crap. There's no stills or anything of that nature on the DVD cover so no casual buyer will see its age or special effects until they've bought it and sat down.

Does the anniversary version have many special features pal?
