Just about to watch The Executioner again! Crazy crazy film!
It is cut unfortunately, however its a case of excellent print = slightly cut film
or dire print = uncut film
you can watch the uncut scene online, you can't really tell its missing.

When talking about "Nine" are you still refering to the film in your first sentence. Or a different movie I'm a bit slow on the uptake today

In reference to 9. I thought the story was good and the animation was superb, for the first half hour or so. After that I can't quite put my finger on it but the film felt a bit flat. I also felt that in some scenes it looked like a video game,(anyone else find this?). Overall I did enjoy but I probably wouldn't watch again.

It is awesome! I have the German dvd which is Widescreen but non-anamorphic - I know there are other dvd's out there but I don't know how they compare.

Watched "The Girl Who Played With Fire" today. I did enjoy this. I had heard that it wasn't as good as the first film so I was pleasantly surprised I thought it was superb, though different to the first film. I will have to watch part 3 at the weekend as I can't wait to see what happens

On a technical note. On the Bluray case it says that the film is in 2.35:1. But on the slipcase it says 1.78:1. The film has no black bars so I believe it to be 1.78:1. Can anyone confirm this

Just watched THE DORM THAT DRIPPED BLOOD and I hadn't seen it since 2004 and I thought it was rubbish and I hoped seeing it on blu-ray would change my opinion of it but, sadly, it didn't - it's still rubbish.

Last night I watched two beautifully wonderful films Jean de Florette and Manon des Sources. They're both really touching and beautifully shot films and I don't know about you but is Emmanuelle Beart not the most stunning women to grace this planet (after my Kelly of course), my jaw was dropped throughout the whole of Manon de Sources. I had to keep wiping up the dribble (from my mouth that is, I know what you were thinking for a second then)
