Bad Boy Bubby is not only my favourite Australian film, but my favourite film of all time (well it has been for the last 10 years since I first saw it).

I'll so dome some fave stills in the relevant thread to whet people's appetite.

Default Australian Films

Exscuse me if there already a thread on here is so then imerge it..

Once again with the The loved one they prove yet again how great Australia can make films watched this last night and highly enjoyed it

We have threads of foreign horrors from france germany etc,

So thought i do one on Australian horror...

So any suggestions on any Australian horrors or thoughts on them would be gratefull...

The Loved Ones is a lot more extreme in its depiction of violence than most Aussie horrors I've seen, i can think only of Wolf Creek that's on a par.

That said, there are some great Aussie horrors and thrillers if you're looking stuff that's more thrilling and suspenseful than gory. I'd recommend the likes of Road Games and Long Weekend as a good place to start.

LONG WEEKEND is excellent. I saw ROAD GAMES on BBC 1 a few years ago and can hardly remember a thing about it. I was going to buy the DVD but backed off when I heard it was cropped.

NEXT OF KIN
BODY MELT
PATRICK (though the Italian 'sequel' is better)
RAZORBACK
THIRST (David Hemmings and Henry Silva! )
