Turkey Shoot is the best Aussie film, although i think Blood Camp Thatcher is a better title.

LOL.

Seriously though, there has been some very good ideas like STONE, Mad Max, Turkey Shoot, Human Experiments (Oz or NZ ?) but put them into the hands of an Aussie film maker and they cant deliver the goods.
They came close with Stone but ruined it with the protrayal of the main character . Compare with Northville Cemetry Massacre to see what I mean.

Australia has many strengths but film making and even music (Rolf Harris, 2 little boys) ai'nt among them.
Sorry Cloud, I know your a big Rolf fan but he's to ' thigh slapping ' for me mate.

Lady Stay Dead is great fun. What was John Landis doing in the lead role? Or is it his twin brother?

Hey Vips, have you never seen Prisoner Cell Block H? That's great. As for films, what about Long Weekend? You can't tell me that was poorly made.

Regarding Rolf Harris, I'd have thought his music was right up for alley!
