Sci-Fi is probably my second favourite main genre after horror.

I grew up on a diet of Sci-Fi though - albeit mainly through books and TV shows. It wasn't until I was in my teens that I started getting into horror.

However that said, I've never been a big Star Trek or Star Wars fan.

I admit it is a bit odd.

I do like sci-fi and i can't really explain it. Perhaps i shouldn't have watched the first three Star Trek films in August.

I know it's a bit weird when films like 2001 and Solaris leave me cold (Only the remake of Solaris i'm afraid. I can't pay full price for the original then find i hate it).

I find i prefer the space opera / action movie types over hard sci-fi, which is even odder as i read hard sci-fi and always have done.

I ended up finishing The Jensen Code and watching an episode of The Avengers last night as i couldn't bring myself to choose a sci-fi movie.

I think i'll just hide behind this sofa.

I'm exactly the same, apart from the growing up on sci-fi books, films, and TV shows. The first films I really got into were horror ones, and then sci-fi later.

That could be it.

I grew up on Star Wars, Empire, Jedi, Star Trek the Motion Picture, Warlords of Atlantis, Superman, The Black Hole and Raiders of the Lost Ark at the cinema.

To be fair i don't think you can beat those films even now.

Then came Scanners on Betamax.

Apparently the upcoming Blu-Ray and DVD combo pack of 'Suicide Squad' contains an extended version of the film with an extra 13 minutes of new material

However, this extended cut will ONLY be on the Blu-Ray - the DVD will just contain the theatrical one

From what I'm hearing, the DVD release of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again" will be on December 6, 2016.

An extended cut of the film will be included featuring deleted scenes and Brad's song 'Once in a While'
