Funnily enough, I watched this again recently just to give it a reappraisal (as I do with films from time-to-time) and it hasn't aged well. I like the anarchic nature of the themes in the film and the ending was quite a shock at the time. Not a great film, but I don't think it's all bad either. It's definitely very misanthropic, but I like that about it.

Has anyone mentioned Halle berry as 'Catwoman' yet, i've been trying to forget but this thread has just triggered a bad movie flashback. Totally screwed up the character and was just plain wrong. I'm gonna have to go look at pictures of Pfeiffer's kinky cat to recover. Then lie down in a dark room to recover from that. |

Catwoman is atrocious, but I happen to like Fight Club

It's one of the few films that really wind me up, Stephen. Considering the cast and crew, it could of been something good.

Elektra isn't much better. Both were extremely disappointing, not by being bad films as such, just boring and missing the point of the titular character.
