I'm with you Delirium about The Worlds End i liked it in the cinema but since watching it more at home i now love it.
The Pegg character reminded me of me and my mates at the age of 16 and the soundtrack summed up that time too, always liked Sisters too but would have liked to have had a few more songs seeing as they are referenced alot, maybe an earlier song as well coz they are my favourite ones.

Remind me to ignore your recommendations in future then.

One of those is in the top five zombie films of the last 20 years. Red State was something very different from Smith, i liked it but didn't love it, however to class it as one of the worst films of all time is daft.

The Devil's Chair was full of ideas, many didn't work but it's never boring.

As you say its always horses for courses..... but we definitely run on different courses.

My eleven year old daughter who is becoming a real bad movie aficionado (or should that be aficionada?) like her dad. reminded me of a couple of real contenders when she subjected some school mates to:

(1964)

a film which suffered the indignity of the crew losing the only copy of the script half way through the shoot and the sound elements somewhere in post production.
and Wizards of the Lost Kingdom (1985) an amazingly awful fantasy piece which just defies watching.

Don't know about the worst, probably something with Jennifer Anston.
But a film that really annoyed me was Iam Legend, i quite enjoyed the first half hour but when the creatures show up it totally ruins it for me, far too much CGI
rubbish that really destroys what makes the original book so great, they are devoid of intellect and just roar unconvincingly.
The book gave them cunning and soul, presenting us with chilling taunting vampires. Why?

Never made myself sit through it but Polar Express seems like the stuff of nightmares to me. I'm severely Hanksophobic.

No it came on after the burbs and splash. Always plays a nice guy, just don't think he pushes himself in his role choices.
Road to perdition was bearable coz it was a more interesting role, but even then he was a nice bad guy, and the upside was he died.

I'm the same; I just can't take to the guy at all. The only film I've found him bearable in so far is The Green Mile.
