Excellent price.
Does anyone have either of these releases?

Or

Is there much difference or are they identical?

I have the Optimum release which looks fine. No idea if it's better or worse than the first release though.

This isn't going to be much help but there is a thread somewhere regarding region one blu-ray players and a recommendation for an online store from Paul@TheOverlook.

I know Bizarre_Eye bought a machine from the shop based on the recommendation so perhaps you could PM him.

The only problem is B_E is away from the site at the moment, probably until the end of the year.

Perhaps you could PM Paul for the link to the shop.

This is the site, I bought mine from eBay, but the seller originally bought it from them and it works perfectly (Panasonic DMP-BDT130)

Me too, that's how I found it so quick
