I used to like this a lot when I was way younger - I loved The Crow and as far as I was concerned, Mark Dacascos was a legend because of Crying Freeman.

However, I saw it repeated on CBS Action (two years ago, I think) and it looked really cheap and shoddy. Cheap, flat lighting does not suit the gothic ambiance of The Crow.

Still way better than Wicked Prayer. Yeesh!

Currently closing all possible gaps in my aussie titles & aussie related titles. Is the doco DVD "not quite Hollywood" worth adding in, I watched "Ozploitation trailer explosion" tonight & wondered if this is a worthwhile accompaniment to that?

It's a glorious documentary. You probably won't discover any new films but there are some wonderful anecdotes - Jimmy Wang has some "interesting" views on white women.

Let's just say we have very small output at as a country, especially that gets released overseas.

No offence meant it wasn't a dig just an amused observation.

I adore All Aus Like I said Rowena Wallace,Judy Nunn,Maggie Kirkpatrick,Jenny Ludlam,Sue Jones & Ian Rawlings are amongst my favourite actors of all time.

As bad as they could be in their later years I loved sons & Daughters,Prisoner even the young doctors!

HAHAHAHAHA no offense at all I thought it was quite a good observation. We have a small output, very repetitive and all very similar. At least with recent years. We used to have variation with genres and stars and series, But
Now it's nearly identical

I just ordered this about a week ago, still waiting for it to arrive but I'm sure I'm going to love it. I've loved all of the pink films I've seen. (Female Convict Scorpion series, Girl Boss films, Female Yakuza tale, etc.)
