Here are a few samples pages. The first 60 or so pages are a biography of del Toro, an in-depth tour of the house and 2 or 3 interviews with the director on various subjects. It then goes into the notebooks for each film and how they help in the creative process, plus various writings about the del Toro by other famous writers such as Neil Gaiman.

Thanks for that Justin I think I might opt the other one first. Giid though Cabinet looks it does seem to spend the majority of its time on his films, plenty of information on which is available on the releases themselves. The other book is the companion piece to the museum exhibition and I'm hoping will focus mostly on his actual collections. Plus at the moment I can get it at quite a reasonable price. What i tend to do when I go in a shop and see a film that grabs me and not sure go onto imd and see the reviews (just glance over a few ) just see if there more good reviews than bad then I take a risk, if its got a good rating eg 7\8 out of 10 then I just buy it .

I also want to know, the title of the film intrigues me but other than that I know nothing!

I'd definitely go for it, mixing giallo elements with native American ideas. Sent from my PRA-LX1 using Tapatalk
