Flesh of the Void is a terribly disturbing experimental horror film about what it could feel like if death truly were the most horrible thing one could ever experience. It is intended as a trip through the deepest fears of human beings, exploring its subject in a highly grotesque, violent and extreme manner.

Flesh of the Void doesn't follow a story line in the traditional sense. It focuses on the question "what happens after we die?", and tries to depict the possibility of death being the most horrible, terrifying experience you could ever have, before you finally become one with the darkness, become the flesh of the void.
We like to describe the style and overall feel of the film as "if the tape from The Ring was made for the deep web".
And trust us when we say you're going to see things in this film you will wish to never have seen, ever.

This sounds like a interesting movie as a lot of people fear death itself

Before Shaun of the Dead or Zombieland made horror-comedies a hot property in Hollywood, the '80s and early '90s saw a host of wonderful films that managed to perfectly balance laughs and gore.

Evil Dead II, Gremlins, An American Werewolf in London, The Lost Boys, Fright Night, The 'Burbs, Critters and many more are fine examples of horror-comedies that still stand the test of time, but another title that falls into this genre is the cult-classic Tremors.

If you haven't seen it yet then you're in for a treat. The story revolves around a group of people that live in a small isolated town that are forced to defend themselves against strange creatures that are killing them one by one.

Truth be told, the sequels never matched the standards of the first, but we're delighted to say that Kevin Bacon will be returning to Perfection, Nevada because he's starring in the pilot episode of the new TV show.

Yes, that's right. Everyone's favourite repairman, Valentine McKee, will be attempting to save the town again.

If that doesn't get horror fans excited then they'll be delighted to know that Jason Blum is also involved with the project. In case you're unaware, he's the mastermind behind films like Insidious, The Purge and Paranormal Activity - so it's safe to say that he knows how to make a hit.

As for the plot, the Tremors TV show will pick up 25 years after the events of the film, which saw Bacon's character fighting giant, worm-like monsters who eat human flesh. We'll always call them graboids!

It seems like the show is going down the route of Ash vs Evil Dead because we'll also get to see Valentine battling age, alcohol and a delusional hero complex.

"This is the only character I've played that I've ever thought about revisiting. I just got to thinking, where would this guy end up after 25 years? Andrew Miller has a fantastic take on it and we hope to create a show that will be fun and scary for fans of the movie and folks that have yet to discover it. Let's kick some Graboid ass!" he said.

"The thing is, to me what's interesting about that guy is that he was doing nothing, working as a handyman," Kevin continued. And then because of this extraordinary circumstance, he gets to become a hero! So, what happens after you've become an accidental hero? 25 years later. And that's the thing we want to explore in this series," Bacon adds.

We can't wait!

Let's hope that Melvin, Earl and Burt are all brought back.

This pops up every day on my Facebook feed. I have avoided it for some reason but I am a sucker for this kind of stuff once I watch it.

Bringing you the best in Horror Movie News, and all things Horror.

John Landis' 1981 movie AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON is considered a classic and rightfully so. It contains one of the most brilliant werewolf transformation scenes to ever have been captured on film. Rick Baker's creative genius was exercised in order to pull of the ordeal resulting in practical effects heaven.

We learned back in November that Max Landis, son of original director John Landis will be writing and directing the remake of AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON.

Max Landis recently appeared on The Rugged Man Podcast where he dropped some decent sized news on the upcoming project.

His opinions on the use of practical effects and CGI:

“The thing I would do with CGI, were I directing this film, would be leg movement, and I would have the entire wolf’s face, back and body be practical, and then I would fully CGI the legs for organic movements. If you remake American Werewolf and the transformation scene isn’t practical, you have fu*ked up.”

He went on to speak about making the film saying:

“We’ll see if I can do it. We’ll see if I can pull it off. We’ll see if they even make it. My goal is I feel like all of the best remakes focus on one thing in the original movie, take a lot of the images of the original and then remix that really tightly. With American Werewolf I’m doing that, but I’m also just gonna try and do American Werewolf as best I can. We’ll see. I can’t make no promises.”

Universal Pictures is developing the project along with Landis who has some writing credits to his name but only one feature length directing credit with last year's ME HIM HER.

THE WALKING DEAD creator Robert Kirkman will be producing the AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON remake, along with David Albert, Todd Garner, and Matt Smith.

Father John Landis will executive produce, along with Andy Trapani.

Original synopsis:

"David (David Naughton) and Jack (Griffin Dunne), two American college students, are backpacking through Britain when a large wolf attacks them. David survives with a bite, but Jack is brutally killed. As David heals in the hospital, he's plagued by violent nightmares of his mutilated friend, who warns David that he is becoming a werewolf. When David discovers the horrible truth, he contemplates committing suicide before the next full moon causes him to transform from man to murderous beast."
We will continue to bring you more on the remake of AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON as we hear it.
