Time to update my October HORROR-A-THON list:

9th. Rabid
10th. Stage Fright (aka Aquarius) Solid transfer on the Exposure Cinema BD
11th. Scanners (yes, I realize it's more sci-fi than horror, but meh)
12th. Night of the Creeps (THRILL ME!)
13th. Return of the Living Dead (30th anniversary! BRAIIINNNSSS!!!) :brainfood:
14th. Anthropophagous & Going to Pieces: Rise/Fall Slasher Film
15th. Carrie double feature (1976 & 2013)
16th. The Monster Squad (I see it as a PG rated horror flik) :pop2:
17th. From a Whisper to a Scream (aka The Offspring)
18th. Pumpkinhead
19th. Street Trash (it fits many genres IMO, calling it "Cult" is too general)
20th. The Funhouse (not one of Tobe Hoopers best, but fun nonetheless)

I watched Fear Itself on the BBC iPlayer last night, I didn't enjoy it anywhere near as much as I did Beyond Clueless. I found the narration to be distracting in this case rather than add to the film. I think it was more to do with her voice than what she was saying, she had a very soporific tone which helped me tune out rather than pay attention! However the selection of clips was good, a little too much J-horror maybe to the point where it started registering and I was thinking 'another Japanese horror film i've not seen!'

I wish I had re-watched Slice & Dice instead!

Finally i've picked up Murder Party. A film championed by a few on here. I think this will replace Trick or Treat (A film i have seen many years ago) as my 'new' Halloween film to double bill with Carpenter's horror classic this year.

I watched it on Netflix a couple of years ago, low budget fun from what I remember

No idea what i'll be watching tonight. I'm three behind already thanks to three Poundland specials that were so indifferent shall we say, that i can't even remember what they were called.

Your Vice is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key was a very good film. Surprised the hell out of me. I was expecting a straightforward mystery thriller offering and instead, I got the giallo version of Teorema.

Now, it's time for Fulci's effort.

Has anyone seen Wrong Turn 5?

It's not bad at all. Nothing like the other four films in the series. Set at Halloween, this one takes the gory mayhem into the local town and the bulk of the film is three inbred mutants attempting to get their father, played by Doug Bradley, out of jail.

Although it has no subtitle i'd call it Wrong Turn 5 : Assault on Precinct Rio Bravo.

I initially watched it this time last year but had completely forgotten everything about it so it felt like watching a new film.
