It is the way of the world now unfortunately, as you're hitting your biggest potential audience via a social media platform who then spread it to the smaller more niche areas such as this.
I dont mind twitter so much, i wouldn't touch facebook with a shitty stick no matter what the dividend might be.

It seems a little odd for 88Films not to update the capaign with a thank you or any idea of what the cost of the burial ground film will need from the campaign before that will happen (if it indeed can happen, which would be brilliant) I can see why the whispers in the halls about 88 films exist, they don't appear to have a strong and coheareant public talker.

I want to be excited about the prospect of add on perks or Burial Ground having a transfer but no solid news or solid fiacial goals yet... They may be busy at day jobs?

They've been posting a fiar bit over at Blu-ray.com - the community is larger than it is here though... however, I'm sure they'll get around to posting here eventually.

They also confirmed that Anthro and Absurd is not available at present, so I wouldn't think that they'd be releasing either of those for a fair while (if at all).

Im the same with Twitter. Cant understand it at all, so Im Facebook only.

They stated on Facebook that they might of found a new burial ground print but was very early doors and that any funds would be ploughed in to the new transfer for that film. When asked if they need to hit a set target, they replied 'very early days but hopefully we will raise enough extra money before this finishes to be able to do the new transfer' to which the original poster replied that they would pledge some more if needed (as would I).

I doubt they can give out any solid news until they have it themselves.

A cheap film i always had room on my shelf for is 'Psychic Killer' here is a trailer for any one interested http://youtu.be/_8X50bD3dXo - This would be a real treat to have in a new transfer and on blu ray. i doubt anyone likes this movie enough to show it the love.

With all the support on here from people such as Vipp, Jami, and others, tweeting, linking etc etc, it would have been nice for someone from 88 Films to say 'Thank you' on here.

It's only two words after all.

It was easy enough to come on and threaten to pull the campaign because it hadn't reached it's desired target within the first 24 hours.

That's what I thought, but they're still more vocal than that other company with the yellow boxes

By the way Zombi Holocaust is only £11.97 on Amazon at the moment, while Burial Ground is £18.99.

I would prefer a HD Burial Ground - if 88 can pull this off then more power too them.

I've pre-ordered both, will cancel Burial Ground depending on what news 88 Films will have on it.

88 Films via the evil book of faces:

Ok, so we have definitely found another source for Burial Ground in the form of a positive element.
If we can keep going with this campaign and get somewhere near to doubling the target, we should be able to deliver brand new masters for both Zombie Holocaust AND Burial Ground.
Fingers crossed!
