Ok,sent an e-mail to susan hill and here is the reply...

"the old itv film of this is deleted, and the rights to all tv and film versions are wholly owned by hammer films.Itv's licence to this expired some years ago and there will be no dvd of their version. Selling, buying, copying, porating, showing of that version is illegal.
Hammer films are now making a major motion picture of the THE WOMAN IN BLACK."

That'll be that then!

I'm not really into collecting labels, more into collecting titles.
But it happens sometimes...for example I've got the complete French Neo Publishing Giallo collection.
Very nice digipacks, prints and exclusive extra's but you have to understand Italian or French.
I've read that they will be releasing some new titles in that collection soon btw.
So more to buy...

I've been after the US dvd of Invasion of the Blood Farmers for some time, but don't really want to spend a lot on it so I'm being patient...more pleasure is derived from getting one relatively cheap!

I've seen Dragon mentioned here...
I've got:
-Blood Diner
-Dolls
-Frankenhooker (different packaging)
-From Beyond

For the moment I'm after some older oop Dutch releases,I only recently started to get interested in those...they're just fun to collect.

Not too sure if it's a Dragon or Raptor release but the print is the same VHS transfer used for Vipco's U.K. version.

Also the trailer included is not legit more a fanboy cut 'n paste job rather than an actual theatrical preview. The only saving grace seems to be the addition of the Tom Savini Scream Greats documentary but this enjoyable extra is making it's way over here as part of Arrow's Dawn Blu-ray so this featurette is no longer exclusive to Germany's 'Burning Revenge' DVD.

Blue Underground have got an impressive catalogue. I have quite a few of their titles and have yet to be disappointed by any of their releases.

They port a lot of the old Anchor Bay US titles though, so their catalogue does comprise mostly of re-releases but the quality of both print and of extras is pretty high. You can get them fairly cheap on Amazon Marketplace, but they tend to sell for silly money on eBay. Some of their titles are available on more superior labels though - like Shameless for instance!

Here is a link to their site where a list of all their titles can be found. At present they seem to be more interested in re-releasing their titles on Blu-Ray (which can be a good thing, or a bad thing depending on your view), I personally can't be bothered with Blu-Ray at the moment.

No probs mate.

All great titles there.

Although, The Prowler is available in the UK from Optimum under the title Rosemary's Killer - The BU version is good though and has better artwork IMO.
