Mullholand is much more wtf then Kill List.
Lynch really knows how to send your mind into overdrive!

I know this is off topic but, once you break it down, Mulholland Drive is a very simple story, as are those in Lost Highway and Inland Empire. As I said before, it's great to watch them a couple of times to try and get past the initial 'mind****' viewing and start to make sense of everything and formulating your own explanation.

Once you think you have everything figured out and have seen other people's interpretations, the third or fourth viewing is a completely different experience altogether.

The "mystery" of Kill List is nothing as obtuse as the latter Lynch movies, so no-one should be put off by comparisons. Kill List is a more straightforward film for the most part.
I like the King Arthur theory and it's just as valid as any other.
I recently watched the film for a second time and then a third with the writer/Director commentary. I learnt nothing from it other than; there's a cult with a nefarious plan The husband and wife team do just seem to have put a clever movie together; clever in that it convinces is there's a deeper meaning. Some of the lines and behaviour that I thought were clues have turned out to be ad-libbed by the actors, so who know's who is right about the subtext

A talent and a half Mr Wheatley.

Whatever happened to our last great horror director Neil Marshall?

Been very quiet of late ain't he?
