Good luck with that one Rik, remember where the free tickets need to go to once you've made it. Something I would love to do.

Cheers, I'm a long way off yet, the only commissions I've got at the minute are for some corporate animations through Leeds Uni, but it's a start

The Cult Labs Radio Jingle sounds sweet, love the Hellraiser touch. There are a lot of bods out there releasing vinyl / cd's / downloads of fictitious horror / sci-fi soundtracks on the cheap, I download lots myself on bandcamp and the like. Go for it Rik, I'll buy!

I'm actually working on some stuff that I plan on releasing (hopefully I'm time for Hallowe'en), early days yet, but I've got a few pieces that are coming together nicely.
That jingle was just a taster

It Follows. A great ST, which made the experience of watching the film unravel bearable cough.

Still need to watch that, I've heard nothing but praise for it

Like a lot of these modern films, I sometimes get the feeling that I've missed something..see also The Babadook, Lovely Molly. I guess I just prefer my horror to be actually scary.

Having said that I did sit through the awful Red Clover on THC last night.

Yeah, still don't get all the hype surrounding The Babadook, one of the worst horror films I've seen this year, and that's saying something because I've watched a ton of no-budget shockers this year!

Not just within horror cinema, but I often feel that a good soundtrack augments the quality of the film for me - especially when it comes to more modern films. For instance, the soundtrack to The Guest really enhanced my overall viewing experience of the film and I probably wouldn't have rated it as high if it had not been for this fact.

Another couple of films where I feel the soundtrack has really helped boost their 'appeal' to me are Drive and Lost River (2014). I almost always get more out of a film if Clint Mansell has been involved in the soundtrack somewhere too.

Indeed. I think I was more frightened playing the Steam game Limbo.
