Chapter 1 The Master Magician.

When no one else will take the delivery of strange package one of many strange packages that always result in attempted hijacking Bud Foster a driver for the towns biggest transport company is on his way to a job when his brother Jack suspecting something is not quite and right chases him down to give him warning that there maybe danger ahead. Sure enough they are soon attacked by the gang run by The Whispering Shadow using mind control through radio waves . Unfortunately in the resulting chase and gun fight Bud is killed.

Managing to capture one of the gang alive the police question him on the whereabouts and identity of The Whispering Shadow but he is adamant that he or anyone has ever seen him only his shadow. Suddenly he falls to the ground and with no sign of life the police search the body to find a small electrical pad which was used to send a volt through his body and kill him using radio waves.

While examining the facts police discover that each time a truck is attacked they always have a delivery for Professor Adam Anton Strang (Lugosi) who runs a wax museum on the edge of town. When Police arrive at Strangs museum they are greeted with eerily life like wax figures and a very strange on edge Professor Strang. What if any connection could there be between Strang and The Whispering Shadow You will have to wait for next weeks exciting episode of The Whispering Shadow.

Coming in at just under the 30 minute mark The Whispering Shadow is fast paced action crime mystery. Right from the get go we a treated to a car chase a shoot out a prison break involving a very daring leap of faith on to a speeding train a few fist fights one of which while hanging from a helicopter. A great way to kick of this mini series i have high hope for the remaining 11 chapters but sadly they all clock in at only 18 minutes.

Make sure you tune in next week for

Chapter 2 The Collapsing Room.

Chapter 2 The Collapsing Room

Convinced The Whispering Shadow and his gang will attempt a raid on the transport warehouse police set up a trap and post guards on all sides of the building waiting and hoping to catch the shadow in the act. But when the warehouse alarm goes off the shadow is nowhere to be found but instead we see a struggle between Jasper Slade and Professor Stangs daughter each trying to steal a box of jewels that was hidden in the warehouse by Slade who originally stole them and has now escaped prison to claim his prize. After getting the better of Vera in the struggle Slade takes a hostage at gun point and orders him to drive him out of town he is sure he is away free but he is unaware that Jack Foster is in pursuit thinking he is chasing the Shadow. When Jack catches up with Slade the jewels are not in the box has Vera Strang fooled Slade and swiped the jewels from under his nose ? Jack heads straight to Strangs museum to catch the Professor and his daughter red handed and finally reveal the true identity of The Shadow but when he arrives Professor Strang is attacked and he finds himself in a very dangerous situation where his life and the life of Vera is about to be cut short.

With how fast paced Chapter 1 was i was expecting some slow down with the following chapter but i was mistaken there is not enough time to catch your breath the break neck speed continues with not sign of slowing down anytime soon. Like Chapter 1 we are treated once again to fist fights shoot out and more chases this time between a car and a motorcycle in which the stunt man travelling at some speed stands up on the saddle to jump into a speeding car and it looks fantastic. One downside this this second chapter is that its only 18:34 long and the first 5 minutes is spend recapping the last 5 minutes of chapter 1 but it does get straight into the action once the second part gets underway.

We see a little less of Lugosi in this chapter hopefully that will change as we progress along because his character and his wax figures is very interesting.

Tune in next time for Chapter 3

The All-seeing Eye

I'm actually watching it on YouTube the sound on the second chapter is way out of sync picture quality it's only ok but good for it's age. Some faces are so white you can't make out facial features but it's watchable. Hopefully the sound is better on the actual DVD.

Have a meeting organised in November with a tattoo artist in Dublin to talk about my next tattoo we have discussed a price and how long it will take on Facebook sadly he is booked up until the new year but his work is top notch so it will be worth the wait. Here's what I'm getting done.
