I only re watched it in the past week I really enjoy it and it has James Woods so it had a good head start.

Now after a couple of viewings on dvd i'm not quite sure. I think he's made an attempt to capture the feel of From Dusk till' Dawn and Desperado with the camerawork and music, and to be honest i don't think it's that successful really. It feels a bit derivative to me. |

First dvd I ever saw. Was quite impressed with the opening (picture wise), and it rattles along like a good un. Recommended.

It's out of the realms of Horror Films but has anyone heard John's 'debut' album, Lost Themes? I got a copy for my Birthday and I listen to it loads, with many many years of experience in writing and recording film scores this debut album is very professional and polished and the pieces are more complete rather than short cues.

Love Carpenter's early work - Assault, Halloween (of course), The Fog, The Thing, Prince of Darkness, They Live.

Lost themes is an excellent album, well worth purchasing for anyone who likes his classic soundtracks. You could build a movie around it!
